NFI in Lowell refers to the NFI Family Resource Center of Greater Lowell. This center is part of the Massachusetts Family Resource Center Network and provides a variety of services to individuals and families in the community. Their goal is to empower, nurture, and support children and families to help them reach their full potential.
Here are some of the key services they offer:
- Psychoeducation classes and workshops
- Evidence-based parenting educational classes
- Support groups
- A small food pantry and community closet with basic need items
- Family support, career support, mental health counseling, and education support

- Parenting Journey 12-Week Course
- In this 12-week course, caregivers will reflect on their own childhood, connect with others & create their own style of parenting that aligns with their vision & values.

- Active Parenting for the First Five Years
- Helping caregivers learn how to bond with their young children through their young children through encouragement, positive redirection, and non-violent discipline.

- This 5-week curriculum aims to help parents raise responsible & cooperative children who can resist negative peer pressure & thrive in today’s society.
